WELLNESS & BURNOUT

For the employee at work:

- Just breathe! Stopping throughout your day to take three deep breaths can free the tension, stress, and worry that has been built throughout the workday.

- If possible take a 5-10 min break and go outside and walk around. It can help you concentrate, increase your creativity, and boost your mood.

- Bring a small plant into work. It will brighten up your work area, add more oxygen into the air, and could improve your mood.

- Listen to music

- Relax muscles, stretch

- Keep hydrated

- Take Microbreaks

For the Employers:

- Schedule walking meetings. Walk-and-talk meetings can help the team get some fresh air and some endorphins before heading back to the office.

- Form recreational sports teams. Team-building activities like these can help you and your coworkers develop strong rapport and develop a healthy group dynamic. Recreational sports kills two birds with one stone, helping you and your team stay active while having a good time.

- Host a potluck/recipe swap. Not only will having a potluck be a great way to introduce different cultures, it will also give a chance for employees to get to know one another better.

- Provide healthy snack options in the workplace. It will give energy to employees, plus give them a chance to stretch their legs.
