Description: The center is part of the Community Action Program of Lancaster and the food is distributed in the Family Life Center basement. The program is designed to assist those who are going through financial struggles. Requirements: 1) The person representing the family must present photo ID. 2) The person must live within the Lancaster area. 3) When a person first requests food, they must fill in a special form. To specify their need, or that they are within the C.A.P. Guidelines (Financially needy to receive food)


CRISPUS ATTUCKS COMMUNITY CENTER- Serves Lancaster County

Description: A CAFE (Community Meals) The Crispus Attucks kitchen staff cook and serve 15,600 lunches annually, offered free to the community. In addition, we open our auditorium every Saturday and Sunday night throughout the year ( including holidays) for the Council of Churches' Community Meals Program. Congregation members prepare the food ahead of time and then come to Crispus Attucks to serve the meals to 80-150 attendees each night. A CAFE also has a food bank twice a month (next July 8) it is always a Wednesday. 2-4 for seniors and disabled 4-6 for everyone else must bring id. Our community meal program now offers dinner to YOUTH (parents eat as well) in our community on Tuesday and Thursday nights.
